The Webb City Farmers Market is an IRS-recognized 501c3 nonprofit
whose mission is to bring the community and local producers together for wholesome, fresh food.  The market is a producer-only market meaning that every item sold at the market is grown or made by the seller.

The market sponsors a Kids Community Garden on school property near the middle school.  It also hosts more than 25 area nonprofits each year through benefit lunches on Tuesdays and benefit breakfasts on Saturday.  The market hosts as many as 7 workshops during the off season from local professional and hobbyist growers.  All growers of edible produce at the market must attend a food safety course for growers prior to selling.  Each vendor is visited by the market managers one to two times per year to verify production and check for food safety issues.
Thanks in part to a grant from the Missouri Arts Council, there is live music at each market.
